Week 6- Art Activity- Intermedia

The three different ideas I chose for this art project was spreading love, my favorite things, and air pollution. The three media I chose was through origami, a digital drawing pad, and photoshop. I wanted to use origami to make a heart because I thought that it would help me better portray the effort I put into rather than just drawing it. I think if I chose to use photoshop or drawing I would not have been able to express my desperate heart. Secondly, I used a digital drawing pad to illustrate my favorite things. I chose to use a digital drawing pad because there were many different colors, and I felt like it looked more clean and professional compared to drawing on a piece of paper. And lastly, I chose to use photoshop because I took a class in high school on how to use it. I thought it would be a good opportunity to share my practices and use it for this class. Because I do not have a lot of experience, I thought photoshop would be the best solution to my third media because I wanted a lot of things to be shown, such as color, texture, and shape. Overall I think my projects came out pretty decent. I would say that I am satisfied because I tried my very best for each one. I think I was able to convey my art to some degree to the audience because it is not too hard.

This is the heart origami I made with a magenta blue piece of paper. No scissors or glue needed, just your hands! I thought that in times like this, it is important to spread love whether it is true actions or words!

This is what I drew on the digital drawing pad. Here I wanted to portray my favorite things with simple drawings.

For this one, I wanted to inform you how dangerous pollution can be and that the Earth is in our hands. We only have one chance to make the Earth last!
