Wk 11 — Student Choice — Part 4
Strengths of #1: It was very simple. The elephant stood out from the background, and the colors of the sprinkles made it seem friendly.
Weaknesses of #2: Maybe it was too simple. Looked pretty plain and boring.
Feedback from classmates: Adding more texture would make this art piece a lot more attention-grabbing. Another critique was maybe making the elephant look like it is actually sleeping, but for this design, the word “Dream” wasn’t the literal sleeping, but it was to imagine the life you wanted.
What I tried to do differently this time: I added a border across the picture to make the picture seem like it is inside of something and I focused on adding more hazy clouds for texture.
Successful or not: I would say this would be a success because I listened to my critiques and I tried my best to do according to my ability.
