Zine

The theme of my zine is the ocean. However, just like art, many people view the ocean differently. Therefore, I wanted to focus on different perspectives. For my cover page, I chose to draw a picture of a simple view of the ocean because that is usually how I picture the ocean. Now, on the second and third page, I made it into one big picture of what may be a view of INSIDE the beach… Which many times, we cannot see. Then the next two pages is a perspective of what may go on ON TOP of the ocean, boats, ships, etc. Then continuing on, I drew a picture of what I like to do at the beach, walk around and talk. And lastly, I wanted to draw a picture of what I love the most, seeing the sunset. It’s all about perspective. I cannot fully say that I am successful with my pictures, because I believe I am not artistic at all… hahaha. I definitely think using pictures and pasting them may have been more impactful. If I were to make another zine, I think I would focus on the color scheme and try to get as many different shades of one color on each page.
